Look Mully and Hanley. I have been listening to you guys on the ride in to work and to hear you trash Gordon like you do is quite painful. Its really unfair. Especially the Hinrich being “Our Guy” comments. ALL of the Bulls players are “Our Guys”, but especially Ben Gordon – who didn’t LOSE his starting position, but was promoted from the BENCH on this team that DESPERATELY needed his scoring. Kirk got demoted because a BETTER point guard was selected in the draft. NOW that should show you what PAXSON thought of his GAME. So much that we drafted at his position. I like Kirk’s scrapiness, but he is not special and can be replaced quicker than changing out a light bulb – as a back-up point guard. Deng and Kirk will NEVER earn those contracts. But at least Deng is tall enough and the best option at his position – when healthy. Deng is also fool’s gold like Kirk. Get rid of both of these guys. They are never going to be more than they are now. Gordon IS special and worth showing the money. And CONTRARY to what you may “think” he would be happy to come off the bench – but ONLY if this team had a better option at starting than himself. SALMONS should be the 2-guard starter, but he is filling in for that Gold-bricker Deng. Gordon came off our bench and was 6th man of the year. Kirk came off and was a good fill in. There is a DIFFERENCE. And Gordon NEVER complained. Not once. That comes from guys like you. And Kirk complained and it was dismissed. Vinny had to be TOLD from Paxson to put Rose in the game in the 4th. Now who do you think was taking Rose’s minutes – LOSING.

The Score

Mitch Rosen is the Program Director at the Score…and the programming stinks! When you compare the current WSCR lineup to the lineup 5, 10, or 15 years ago, the current lineup pales in comparison. For WSCR to lose North, Huebner, Rogers, Offman, Buffone, McNeil, and a few others…WSCR must be a screwed up place of business. Mully & Hanley is dull and boring…Hamp & Holmes is a train wreck, Boers & Bernsy is old & the caller bashing is old. I would rather listen to Goff & Abbatacolla than most of these goofs. Enough with the Sun Times & Tribune Sportswriters…get some guys on the air who are entertaining. North, McNeil, & Buffone were entertaining. How do guys like Rosen continue to get hired? He has failed for 10 years…

I’m sorry, did you just include “Fred Huebner” in your list of supposed key people WSCR has lost??????? Ummm, no offense, but your entire post lost all credability with that. Huebner was a buffoon who is best suited to being a sideline reporter at Junior High Soccer games. Nothing more.

And losing Mike North was an EXCELLENT example of addition by subtraction. For a man with such a loud, opinionated mouth, he sure never had anything worthwhile to say. I mean, talking about his idiot friends, dogs and extremist right-wing politics may be interesting in some venues but not on sports-talk radio.

This is my first time ever trying to Blog… Sorry for the futility, but, I just wanted to comment on the Manny / Major League baseball problem. I hear so much debate about this… What is the problem? The problem simply revolves around Major League Baseball. My opinion, I know it is only an opinion… However, I am truly tired of hearing about the over paid baseball players, owners, MLB and spoiled fans. If there is a rule / mandate, should that not effectively be the only option to perform in your job? I just don’t understand the confusion? No performance enhancing drugs, means, no performance enhancing drugs… I know it doesn’t sell tickets, air time or endorsements… But it is the rule, clean house and enforce the bi —-laws MLB has established and move toward a new era free of the pollution. Time will heal the wounds MLB has brought onto itself… Things that won’t bring simplicity back to the game… An Allstar game that now counts, lengthen the season, suspensions provided to milionaires that have little to no effect on their lives… In my opnion (just an opinion), these are the building blocks of MLB’s future success… These gentlemen certainly excel in the their profession. But their needs to have a thresh hold put on their contributions put on. By that I mean… Begin with an expectation and don’t just say, “I hope he isn’t cheating”. Make certain the players, MLB and Owners all suffer if illegal substances are used during their carrer.

HEY GUYS I WAS LISTIENING ON THE WAY TO WORK ON MONDAY MORNING AND THE SUBJECT ONCE AGAIN CAME UP ON VOTING IN BASEBALL PLAYERS TO THE HALL OF FAME IS IT IS KNOWN OR SUSPECTED THEY USED STEROIDS….WELL IT CAME TO ME A SOULTIONS TO EVERYONES PROBLEMS AND THAT IS BUILD A SPECIAL WING ON THE HALL OF FAME BLD. AND CALL IT THE STERIOD ERA WING ALL THOSE PLAYERS WOULD END UP IN THIS LOCATION WITH AN EXPLANATION OF THERE USE OF STERIODS. THIS WOULD KEEP THEM SEPERATE FROM THE TRUE HALL OF FAMERS BUT YET ACKNOWLEDGE THERE SUPPOSED ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

I BASE THIS IDEA ON THE FACT THAT THEY PROBABLY WILL GET VOTED IN ANYHOW SOMEWHERE DOWN THE LINE.

GREAT IDEA UH!!!! SEND ME A HAT OR SOX TICKETS IF YOU SEE FIT.

THANKS GOOD SHOW.
