Did anyone else have a problem with the Chip Carey and Ron Darling broadcast? I watched the game yesterday but hoped it would end so I didn’t have to listen to any more of Chip. Among others, his mistakes including calling the line out to Raburn a single and when Raburn threw the runner out at home and he didn’t correct himself. At the end of the game Chip was crediting Jim Leyland with being a great manager having come from 7 games back? Wrong manager and team Chip! Terrible broacast. It’s great to have a last name to get ahead.

Don’t have anything against the Twins players and think Ron Gardenhire is one of the best managers in the game, but I cannot stand the Metrodome–and cannot wait for next year to see how that team plays a full season of their home games outdoors in Minneapolis.

Guys, Chip Caray is an embarrassment to baseball broadcasting and why Turner/TBS Sports has this clown as its lead PBP voice in the MLB Division Series and the upcoming National League Championship Series is baffling…Chip was terrible when he was here and isn’t much better when calling the Atlanta Braves on Peachtree TV down South. Hearing his voice is like nails through a chalkboard. You would think with all the $$$$ Turner Sports has invested in MLB postseason coverage, they would find a better guy than Chip to work the games with Ron Darling, Buck Martinez & the undisputed King of loud sportcoats, Craig Sager, in the dugout.
