laurence or anyone?

The bears are not going to rely on garret wolfe as forte's sole back up much longer. whom are they looking at- and whom is likely to fit their system. What about some of these early 30's backs like
an ahman green, or dominick rhodes.....the 5-8 to 5-10 combo backs whom are decent slashers-
rb's can have a lot of impact quickly if there legs are right.....these veterans might be best because they
have blitz pick up experience.....let's get this done bears and use the person....it's time to shake up mr. forte and not with the change of pace option wolfe but a direct competitor.....if fote's hurt - let him heal-
it'sclear he is not as explosive.

Last night on the Top Draft show Laurence mentioned that he thought Forte may be too patient in his running style. With that I give you this: If you listen to Doug and O.B. after the games they mention that the players we have that are difference makers must step up. Forte was a difference maker last year but like Laurence said is he healthy? Yet if a player doesn't see a hole he MUST goe around and make it on his own. This is the equivalent of a Q.B. running away from the rush and throwing down field. Then we have coaching. I am not impressed. Laurence also mentioned yesterday that the Berars are trying all the special blocks and other things that he callers are talking about but he says they aren't working. O.K. then. What is it when you repeat the same thing over and over that is not working yet expect different results? Can we say crazy? In basketball you don't have center shooting a 20 footer regularly. What is it with Turner? How about putting YOUR PRESENT TEAM IN THE BEST POSITION TO FRICKEN WIN? If you don't have exactly what you want for YOUR FRICKEN system ADJUST, OVERCOME AND ADAPT. That is what the fans want to see and we want to win! We have enough talent on this team to have a better record!

This game by the bears had some of the worst red zone play calling I have ever seen. Turner was pulling plays out of butt with no real sense of what would or would not work. If I was an offensive lineman playing for him I would have a hard time getting enthusiastic about executing those crappy calls against a team that seemed know what was coming.

If you have one of the best QBs in the league, what makes it OK to have one of the least accomplished QB coaches ever? Where can Cutler turn to for help on how to get the most out of his talent?

Frank Omiyale is a serious problem. I agree that he may be the worst starting left guard I have ever watched play. He wiffs on blocks at the line, on two different screens, 1) pulls and runs by the eventual tackler 2) blocks the same defender that Krutz is already blocking leaving the would be tackler (again) free. He either gets stalemated, driven back, or misses block entirely.

HE MUST GO!!!!!

LoHo, was it just me or did Matt Ryan closely resemble Peyton Manning in his ability to change plays at the line of scrimmage? It was something I immediately noticed whenever the Falcons had the ball, and it didn't appear to me as if the Bears put enough pressure on #2 in Falcon red last night. Besides, I was very disappointed the Bears defense wasn't more aware of the no-huddle offense Ryan and the Falcons employed. Also, where was the Bears' running game? It was nowhere to be found, and it looked like Jay Cutler was trying to do way too much out there...

question for bernstein or laurence.

if dan snyder and jerry jones get their way and erase the salary cap, does that mean the bears will really be able to load up? I mean we are one of the richest teams in the league right?

there a couple of plays with omiyale at the end where he wasn't bloking anyone.

olsen is dropping easy short catches, forte is NOT an elite HB so we need another guy to help supplement him.

beekman should go in , he did a solid job blocking for ryan at BC.

Ongunleye was virtually no where to be found, he pumps up his numbers against bad Offensive lines.

bears needs :

another beefy small speed HB, forte is not fast he's supposed to be elusive. we need a guy like ray rice.

a #1 WR to stop the double teams on olsen which will also free up other guys.

a big beefy wall at O line.

linebackers, urlacher will be 32 beginning next year.

Guys to get rid of :

vasher, tommie harris, and frank omiyale.
