Lawrence, I wonder if Lovie's dual role of trying to be head coach and defensive coordinator is starting to catch up with him and the Bears. And maybe Lovie made the decision to have the two roles because he assumed that he would have his defensive captain for the vast majority of games. Now with Urlacher out for the year that plan is looking a little shaky.

Consider 1. Not having the defense ready to handle the no-huddle from Atlanta, 2. The team making so many key mistakes after having a bye week to prepare for Atlanta, 3. the team being so completely unmotivated and unprepared for the Bengals.

Has the league caught up with early changes that Lovie and Rod Marineli have brought to the defense?

Laura Okmin doesn't do it for me. I prefer the likes of Brooke Hundley or Natalie from the Facts of Life.

I spilled my kool-aid last Sunday. Need a refill please. A blowout victory versus the Browns is in order.

How much would Cowher,Gruden,Shannahan or Dungy cost us? Lovies D got burned every way possible and he never changed his scheme, that's poor coaching bottom line. Players play I understand that but, we were totally unprepared for what the Bengals did to us. His inability to make adjustments is a glaring weakness in his coaching style.......he needs to go period.

LoHo, I thought you were going to have a heart attack on the air just like Doug & O.B. Sunday after that debacle in Cincinnati. For what it's worth, the only good thing about Sunday's game was the sight of FOX Sports' sideline reporter Laura Okmin on the crew with Sam Rosen & Tim Ryan. As for the game, Lovie Smith didn't have the Bears prepared to play and a lot of the blame for Sunday's ugly loss has to be pointed at him and his coaching staff. If you thought this past Sunday was bad, the (expletive) will hit the fan if the Bears lose to the lowly Browns at Soldier Field.

Are you suggesting the bears develop stonger yet faster players? You might have what it takes to be a part of the bears coaching staff!

I was wondering about Cedric. He seemed bigger yet faster, seems like something the Bear staff should look into.

This team has a LOT of serious issues! Where do you start? 2 definate priorities are getting rid of Lovie and getting some go-to-receivers (& a tight-end) !!!!

This all stems from the fact that we got beat on the lines on both sides of the ball. Does anybody remember, Dan Bezine,Michael Haynes, "Tank" Johnson,Dusty Dvoracek. Missed picks on the defensive line. Leon Joe,Mickael Okwo,Joey LaRocque,Marcus Freeman,Joe Odom. Missed picks in the linebacking core. Don't get me started in the secondary! O.K. now for the offensive line, Terrance Metcalf, Mike Gandy,Mark Colombo,Tyler Reed and too many others to list. This game was the cumulative failure of management, ownership and coaching. Tell me other that Lance Briggs who have the Bears drafted that is a current player that is playing at a pro bowl level? NOBODY! They cannot fine talent in the draft and they have failed to make the players they do draft better! Time to clean house!

This is the first time a really long time that I became angry at the Bears. My afterenoon was set up around this game and I thought I would be entertained. I was wrong! I really gave up on the getting pissed thing with pro sports a long time ago. It wasn't worth it. So I watch for fun and enjoyment and listen to The Score for the same. What I saw on Sunday was "Basura". A "waste " of my time. I thank the bad Bears teams years ago for me getting back into H.S. and College sports but I will not go full circle again. Reading Laurence and listening to Hub before the game, and many others, Lovie just doesn't think we the fans or the media are important enough to answer the questions. I guess next week he can relish in the win against a piece of crap team. I'll say this to Lovie: I don't care if you beat Cleveland next week. In sports, but pro sports especially, I am looking for consistency and I just don't see it. I don't care if Forte gets 250 yards against the Browns. What do we get day in and day out? So far not much of anything. This team is becoming increasingly UNLIKEABLE. That is BAD. This past summer with the Cubs was bad enough for one year with an unlikeable team!
