Horns of a Dilemma
Now at .500 after their fourth consecutive road victory, the February 18th NBA trading deadline presents new and different challenges and choices for Garpax and the Bulls.
They are playing their best ball of the year during one of the schedule’s toughest portions. Their best player is playing as they envisioned, the starting lineup is working, the bench rotations are making more sense, and the coach is staying out of the way.
And they may have to disrupt this positive path to have a shot at a title. Cap space is an issue, and not just because of John Salmons’ potential opt-in: depending on how things shake out, the Bulls could be in a position to add two major free agents, or trade for one star now with the hopes of adding another later. Acquiring some expiring deals in exchange for hard assets is risky and unsatisfying, but it may be the smart path.
Saints TE coach Terry Malone is the latest name in the Bears’ OC clown parade. University of Pittsburgh OC Frank Cignetti may follow Vikings QB coach Kevin Rogers for a Halas Hall interview. And they may end up waiting for the Colts’ Clyde Christiansen. My head hurts.
Any candidates for defensive coordinator coming to town? Any rumored to be? Anything?
Thanks to our fun-loving, shirtless Blackhawks, the Score’s website set an all-time record for pageviews yesterday. We’ll see if the hairless wonders can keep the party rolling through San Jose late tonight.
We will do “Who You Crappin?” today at 5:00, and tomorrow’s Friday Fung is “Sports Apologies” at 4:00.

You get on the horn with the Suns and make it happen NOW, GarPax. Then go full-bore after a legit shooting guard this summer.

Good advice GOB.

“CBSSports.com wire reports
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey has hired five new assistants and retained two others.
The team announced Wednesday that Curtis Modkins will be the offensive coordinator and running backs coach, Bob Bicknell the tight ends coach and Joe D’Alessandris the offensive line coach. Giff Smith will be a defensive assistant and Kevin Patullo in charge of offensive quality control.
George Catavolos remains the secondary coach and Bob Sanders will continue to serve on the defensive staff.
Modkins, Giff, and D’Alessandris worked at Georgia Tech while Gailey was the head coach from 2002 through 2007″
Even the BILLS are acting more like a professional football than the Bears…….egad

Are there a legit SG in the NCAA thats taller than 6-4?

one thing in early in yesterdays game that i saw as effective and that getting a staudamire or even a (gulp) bosh could help with big time, teams are going to start double teaming or as stacey king called it, bracketing d rose with bigs, most likely 4’s. The reason for this is obviously Taj Gibson is the least threat out there. If you have Staudamire or (gulp) Bosh, those double teams aren’t there, and if you dump down into the post, Rose has showed he can hit his shot if that post player gets bracket as well.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Barely.
This is still the “hire people you know” c rap.
I’m glad that JA didn’t allow Lovie to go hire Martz just because they know each other from The Rams.
But your broader point is well-taken…at least The Bills are getting things done (even if badly).
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Sorry, I should have put in more context..responding to ls post about The Bills, the stinkin’ Bills who had the HC job no one wanted.
SAY MY NAME
I fully believe that if you dont have Kobe, Wade or Leborn you are fooling yourself that you will have championship material. Stoudamire will not bring a championship, Bosh, Joe Johnson will not bring a championship, although I do like thm for the bulls. You can trade for everyone but if you dont have those big three names you wont win a championsip.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
The other reason I prefer a trade for Amare Stoudemire is that I don’t trust Garpax to get a primo free agent…I suspect they would just sign a 2010 version of a Wallace type of free agent.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
The Celtics put it together w/o one of the big-3 (I admit that Garnett was still tops then).
The Bulls template would be the Larry Brown Pistons of a few years ago…team w/o top-star.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
say my name, amare certainly isn’t on the level of Kobe Labron or DWade,
but derrick rose WILL BE, he is doing the things that those three do, and he is starting to get good at them. make no mistake, Amare will be brought in to COMPLIMENT rose, not the other way around
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Comment I should have posted a few days ago when the news was “new”…I am very glad that The Cubs will stay in Mesa AZ.
SAY MY NAME
MEthinks since the pistons, what point guard led team has won the championship? The past winners were Power forwards and shooting guards. And to be honest it took a three headed team (GArnett, Allen and Pierce to beat the LAkers). I just dont see any other team beating the lakers. I think he will have to compliment the other player, not the other player compliment D-Rose. Stoudamire will not bring a championship. iF THE Bulls can bring D-Wade and some one else along with Rose, then that will be a serious contender.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
i JUST look at how he’s playing, the competitivness that he plays with, we all know he hates losing, he might just be a revolution of the position. There just isn’t right now a player like him in the league and the scary thing is, is that there is a ton for him to improve on. And i am looking at the whole package. Every run OKC took at the bulls last night, HE THWARTED!!! He took it upon himself to say, this is where i am going to assert myself and get my team back on track. IF he can do that on a regular basis and take over games in those spots, with his skill level and his athelitic ability, you won’t need a dwayne wade
big time sucker(formely MABT)
and i mentioned nothing about a championship, they would still need a third, but staudamire’s skills would compliment rose no doubt
Chris in Scottsdale
If you broke it down into ‘tiers’, this is how I see the top FA’s:
1) LeBron, Wade, Bosh… No consolation prizes here.
2) Amare, Joe Johnson… Guys you’ll likely have to “boat”, and hate yourself the morning after.
3) There is no 3. You need two of the above to go with Rose & Noah at the core. Trade Deng for a sack of potatoes…
Actually, they mentioned this Amare thing yesterday here on the sports talkers, and Deng’s name came up more than once. They said “Nice player”, but his cap numbers are a little bigger than you’d like. However, they also acknowledged he may be better than anyone that PHX would be able to sign in the 2010 FA class (Johnson is NOT coming back here- he felt that the organization held him back, they have no shot at the big 3, and if they wanted to keep Amare, they would have made it clear by now).
Deng for Amare is a legit possibility, and I think the Bulls should do it, whether or NOT they can/want to re-sign him. Clear those books, give Phoenix a player better than they’ll be able to obtain in the FA class, and everyone walks away happy. Plus, Kerr is Garpax West… as much as I hate to say it, rather inept.
Likquid Swordz
PG – Rose
SG – D Wade or Joe Johnson
SF – Deng or Draft Pick or Salmons (puke!)
PF – Stoudamire
C – Noah
I see All-Stars at PG, SG, and PF. I think this will be more than enough to win the East, considering an aging Cetics team and the distinct possibility that LeBron will be a Knick…..it can all happen next season if Garpax doesnt wet themselves. If you have to take on expiring contracts for Hinrich, Deng, or Salmons, to get Stoudamire this year – you’d be an idiot not to move fast on this. Just make sure you sign Amar’e to a nice contract extension
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Much as I like Kerr, Chris is right.
He is effing-up The Suns.
But then, much as I like Pax….

Here’s an interesting link when considering Amare Stoudemire:
http://www.ktar.com/?sid=1239126&nid=788
One of the local stations is doing a bit called “Amare’Can Idol”, where they judge his performance after every game, and decide whether he’s worthy of the max contract he’s seeking…
It’s got an easy-to-read breakdown of his numbers… and they’re not sold on him, and that’s in the SUNS system!
If you can’t put up insane numbers in the Suns’ system, what are you going to do in a slower tempo, especially if you can’t play defense (like Amare)?
Shawn Marion was traded away for Shaq a couple of years ago, and while people ripped the trade, Shaq had a bit of a resurrection, while Marion (as well as his numbers) has faded into mid-level exception obscurity.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
WELL then i guess it’s boozer we go after? I DON’T WANT BOSH. He is in my opinion, basketball’s equilivant to a desperate football team settling for mike martz. there is just something about his game that doesn’t sit right with me.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
or allow taj gibson to become horace grant? i think taj is nice but i don’t think that will happen
Chet’s Inflated Ego
taj is a good guy off the bench, don’t think he will ever be more
I also don’t like Bosh…can’t tell you why (hate to say he is “soft” because I don’t have the evidence other than my gut).
George Oscar Bluth
big time, now if we can get D Rose to do the things defensively (thwarting, and such) that he’s finally doing on offense, you may well be right that this kid could revolutionize the position.
George Oscar Bluth
Interesting re Marion, Chris. Very interesting.
Chris in Scottsdale
Wow. I forgot about Boozer. I’d rather have him on the Bulls than Amare, too.
Is there any love for David Lee? Averaging 19ppg, 11rpg this season… and 3.4 assists (last 5 games his assist totals are 9-5-4-3-4!). I know it’s D’Antoni’s system, but 19p-11r-4a… that’s pretty impressive for any system.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Chris Matthews (who YELLS as much as Mully) said that he forgot The President was black.

We get the Raptors games here and Bosh is a complementary player at best. Not much strength, but he has length….so he’s pretty much a black European-style player in my opinion. He can score, but if you need him to snatch a rebound down in crunch time, dont count on it.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
i am going to write a letter to vince mcmahan and in that letter i propose a five man hell in the cell match featuring keith olberman, chris matthews, rachel maddow, glen beck and bill o reilly, last man standing (and yes i am including maddow as a man) gets to keep their show, everyone else has to go away
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Of course we need to count Madow as a man…I think the first one out is Olbermann.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
little would the winner know that the undertaker would enter the cage at matches end and tumbstone the winner to oblivion, as the undercard i propose all the remaining o coordinator candidates fight in a hell in the cell match and the last man standing gets the job.
Crash Corrigan
Besides the noticeable improvement in D. Rose, is it possible that Vinny is also showing improvement as a coach rather than “just staying out of the way”. He was, after all, a pro basketball player and has been around the game his whole life and while he doesn’t strike me as a nobel laureate, neither does he seem like an imbecile either.
BTW, the girls in the Hawks limo, while not Maxim magazine material, seem like the kind of young women you see around a college campus, not entirely unattractive although certainly not “Wow” material. And for pug-uglies like Bernstein, Boers and Goff to criticize, whoah, dudes, check out your mirror lately? But I’ll admit, Matty is a handsome dude.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
chet i think maddow would win the match, but i would rather see glen beck get tombstoned, that would be a treat.

big time sucker(formely MABT)
the problem i have with boozer is, is he a 4 or a 5? defensivly he is a 4 and offensivly probably a 5 which would mean Noah would have to play the 4 on offense which limits his o-rebound potential. he is one of the best o-rebounders in the league and that’s a valuable thing to have
big time sucker(formely MABT)
amare is a true 4 and that’s why i would want him
George Oscar Bluth
Vinny is not improving, he just isn’t hindering as much as he did. I think the coach’s “progress” lies in him realizing (or being told, more likley) that he su.ck. s and best get out the way (booyyy!) and let Rose do his own thing.
Vinny hasn’t called a successful out-of-timeout play in two months….
big time sucker(formely MABT)
chris yeah, as a complimentary player, not as your main guy, but with rose he could break down defenses and get mullin the ball, mullin is the best left handed shooter in the history of the game, it has to count for something.
big time sucker(formely MABT)

I dont see how Bernsie and others on here can point out how great Derrick Rose has been in January, and not at least think that VDN might have something to do with the kids progress. From the start havent we been saying on here that Del Negro’s one and one job is to make Derrick Rose a better player. An All-Star! Well, here we are, its happening. Yes, he still has trouble diagramming a play during a timeout, he still has trouble with end of game situations, but if we are to judge him on how he has handled Rose we must be objective and admit he’s done a little more than “stay out of the way”.

boozer is staying in utah, bosh is going to miami to play with wade, lebron is staying in cleveland. i think the bulls can get stoudemire, but they have to do it in season before the deadline, because otherwise another team will scoop him up, and as far as joe johnson, not sure, he’s one of those guys that might go buddy up with another team, we’ll see.
but if the bulls can somehow miraculously trade for stoudemire or bosh, they might have a chance at lewering a big free agent shooting guard, if they sign either bosh or stoudemire, truth is, miami is in the top 3 who have money to spend, so they’ll most likely keep wade no matter what, but the bulls could get joe johnson or ray allen, so while it’s unlikely to land any big fish, the bulls can still get a couple of good players this summer if gar-pax plays it right, yeehe, hard to have trust in the guy that couldn’t fire vinny.
and watch out for kobe, if the lakers don’t offer him and extension, bryant could get ticked and excersize his player option, we’ll see.
Jon, Montgomery
and guess what, because of the bulls resurgance, vinny del negro will not be fired, he’ll be coaching the 2010 bulls next season.

Chris, I think that there are three elements:
1. Bernsy puts real effort into the opening blog…almost always there is something to which to respond.
2. Bernsy posts 4-5 hours before showtime, not 4-5 minutes like others.
3. Yes, the B&B audience is much more into analysis and argument. The meatballs don’t post here.

Good points, though it’s too bad that it doesn’t seem like Bernsie uses the blog posts after he does the intro- there are, on occasion, some real good points made on here.

I THINK bernsy aught to have weekly contests amongst the consistent blog posters, and the contest is this, bernsy reads the blog postings and picks which one posts the most thought provoking interesting posts and awards that guy a chance to write a column or editorial, which he would substitiute once a week replacing terry’s roar of the day. I think that is a way to reward posters, keep the flow going, and allow posters who can’t call in or just have trouble verbalizing their thoughts a chance to really participate in the show, it would also challenge others to step up their games.
Chet’s Inflated Ego

boozer is gone, this thought about him staying in utah is bunk. he was begging garpax to trade for him in the offseason and he will be knocking down their door to sign him. the question is, is he the right fit? I hear boozer has problems with millsap and that sloan wants boozer out of the way to use millsap more.

Terry & Dan B.:
Regardless of what happens tomorrow night in New Orleans, the Bulls will return home with a WINNING RECORD on their second extended road trip of the season following their win in Oklahoma City. If the Bulls win tomorrow night, they’ll be a game over .500 coming home to rematch the Clippers Tuesday night at United Center. I’m not about to get carried away by any means, but their improved play makes me wonder myself what the Bulls will do with the NBA Trading Deadline on the horizon shortly after the All-Star break. Needless to say, the Bulls have some tough decisions ahead for the rest of this season, especially because they still want to be a player in the big free agent class this summer with a great deal of money to boot.
As for Derrick Rose, while I’m not surprised that he & Taj Gibson have been selected to play in the Rookie/Sophomore Game as part of NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas next month, it’ll be a shame if #1 and/or Joakim Noah are passed over for reserves when TNT announces the rest of the squads for next month’s All-Star Game itself at the new Cowboys Stadium during tonight’s doubleheader. Both Rose & Noah are All-Star worthy.

I’ve been listening to the score since it started and the only definition i can come up with for meatball fan is if you disagree with B&B. I think **** Butkus was the best middle linebacker of all time does that make me a MB, i enjoy hard hitting football , i think the ‘85 Bears were best Fb team ever, I think OB and Buffone are entertaining after bear games, i like homeruns in baseball, beer at sox park, no cell phone texting at ball games, I like hard checking and an occasional fight in a hockey game, does all that make me a meatball. I’m just saying everytime someone has a different point of view it doesn’t make em wrong and stupid or as Bernsie would say a meatball.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
meatball is saying, “the bears use to not win, but the other team knew they played the bears” Bernsy i think is all about hard hitting football, if it wins. He is about hard checking, if it leads to wins in hockey. how does fighting lead to wins in hockey? Bernsy has no problem with homeruns if it leads to wins. I think want bernsy want’s us all to think, is that the idea is to win, all the teritiary stuff comes second. If the teritiary things come first and winning comes second, you’re a meatball. I had this customer, i am dead serious, can’t make this up, tell me to my face, i still can’t believe it, “the cubs would be better off never winning the world series because winning it would take the fun out of everything” come on everyone, to the tune of the mickey mouse club

I can’t tell you how many times I’ll wait on a couple on vacation obviously from NY/NJ, almost get into a shouting match with them, disagree with them on everything, have them run me ragged, bring out the worst in me… and leave $25 on a $75 tab. Here I am thinking they hate me, and that’s just the way they are. It’s like watching “Summer of Sam”… that’s the most accurate portrayal of a meatball ever.

Have you ever been on a NY-FL flight?

I dunno… it kinda looked like the Madden Cruiser to me…

Chet- LMAO!
I never have, but by all that is holy, I can’t even imagine. Sweet flippin’ Christmas.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
It is just from hell…most obnoxious, annoying, self-entitled crowd you’ll ever see.
Jon, Montgomery
oh, i understand soreness, i wasn’t trying to get personal, i was just saying in my opinion, that madden shouldn’t be in that situation with two of our younger stars, i just didn’t like that aspect, madden can do whatever he wants, i just don’t want him in that limo, with other players, that are way younger than him, that’s all.
Jon, Montgomery
noah is a no-go, rose will not play in the rookie-sophomore game
Jon, Montgomery
that’s good for the bulls. first all-star for them since MJ, congrats d.rose
General Soreness
No offense taken, Jon. I have inside guys with the ChiSox organization and those stories make our young Hawks look like saints. I know if I were rich and famous, I would have a hard time saying no to the groupies who were throwing themselves at me.
Jon, Montgomery
i hope my boy g.beckham isn’t getting into much trouble, i hope.
General Soreness
Haven’t heard and Beckham dirt as of yet…..
meesohawnee
general.. well i guess its all in the eyes of the beholder huh? too funny.. but ya know. When your a 21 year old millionaire, come up up with something hot not ****** like that. that stuff was just nasty.. im they will be livin that one down for a long time.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
jon and i am asking because i want to see it for myself, where you getting your info from?
Jon, Montgomery
mac and spiegs said they got it from yahoo.com
this is the link i believe.
steve johnson
Keep the team the way it is see how far they can go pick up a star next year…. GO BULLS
General Soreness
Meeso….perhaps models weren’t lining up in Vancouver at that time of night. A wise, meatball man-***** once imparted these words of wisdom upon a young General Soreness: “A poke in the hole is better than no poke at all”.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
jon, thanks, i now i hope the article is correct, have a reason to actually WATCH the game, d rose should not play in that rookie game, if he does, he should drop out of skills, actually he should drop out of both and just play sunday, even though he risks getting hurt then as well.
Jon, Montgomery
i believe rose automatically has to be removed from the rookie-sophomore game, it’s still his decision to participate in the skills challenge, personally, i would like to see him do it again, from when he did it last season, i loved it, and when is the last time the bulls had a point guard as good as derrick rose? we might have to go back before the jordan era for this one, because i believe rose is that good.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
AT THAT POSITION, the last all star was BJ Armstrong in 1994, but he was voted in more for girls thinking he was cute because he was a fan vote, i mean he had a good year going but he wasn’t like “oh my god” to find a good as rose point guard based on skill you would have to go back to norm van lier, who is the bulls all time leader in assists. And while i can’t say much about stormin normin because i never actually saw him play, it’s fair to say if they played one on one, rose would pants him
Chris in Scottsdale
Jon-
For a True Point Guard? You have to go back to Norm. BJ made the All-Star team, but didn’t feel like a PG… of course, he didn’t feel like an All-Star, either.
big time sucker(formely MABT)
although if norm could catch him, no doubt, norm would put rose on the ground, and hard. i wish norm was around to teach rose how to defend with physicallity.
Flynn
Chet- as far as evidence that VDN is doing more than stayinmg out of the way, since we arent privvy to attendiong there practices I guess I am assuming he does something there. Im not nominating him for Coach of the Year, but do we all just think a light went off all of a sudden and now D. Rose is one of the best players in the NBA.? Werent B& B on here about 3 weeks agolamenting the fact the D. Rose wasnt thekind of player you can build around and that he’d be a good #2 on a championship team? Maybe, just maybe Rose and VDN are getting better as they learn what they are doing.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Don’t know, but I’ll try to keep an open mind.
I have thought that VDN was a mistake from the git go.
If I begin to comprehend that he is doing something more than wear a suit and clap, I’ll be among the first to give him credit.
meesohawnee
General.. OMG .. too damn funny! Though ive found most with that mentality broke and miserable but hey each have his own poison. Though when your a young rich athlete its probably a good idea to pass the puck than shoot unless its a glorious opportunity! never know when that defense may clock ya in the mouth if your careless
Jaimie in Hoffman Estates
This is the point i want to go into a sports coma, after the Super Bowl till Tournament time, is a pile of c rap.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Mercifully it is now only 3-4 weeks.
And some of the college hoops at the end of Feb. is good as teams try to get off the bubble, or play conference tourneys. And pitchers-catchers report in mid-Feb.
But, you are right.

This Sunday will be miserable…Pro Bowl on Booyah.
No way I’m watching.
I think so many All-Pros have dropped out that the AFC QBs will be Rex Grossman and Matt Painter (oops, can’t be Painter because he’s on The Colts).
Likquid Swordz
Curtis Painter…..Matt Painter is the Pudue basketball coach

I was in Vegas last week. Tell me if I made good future bets or not:
St.Louis Cardinals to win World Series 10-1
Goosen to Win Masters 18-1
Villanova to win NCAA Tourney 8-1
The only favorite I wouldve bet was U-Conn women to win Championship but I couldnt find them on a Sports Book anywhere.

Who exactly benefits from the Pro Bowl? Fans? Players? Franchises? Maybe if the ratings get so low, the Pro Bowl may be untelevised

Oops.

I think the Pro Bowl was started as a way to fund an NFL Pension Plan, some 50 years ago or so.
Obviously that’s not the point of it now.
I will leave it to the better informed (that means all of you) to sort that issue out.
I think they ought to just name the names as an honor and not try to play the stupid game.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
TofB is sooooooo funny.
famous grouse
I’d rather they pick the pro bowl teams then have them compete in competitions like that old show on ABC. Let the QB”s do throwing contest, have races, obstacle courses and strong man stuff. Maybe throw in a beer chugging contest, that be more entertaining and probably more competitive.
Jaimie in Hoffman Estates
Chet, i feel you, it feels like this week has just drugg on! This is my only sanity untilll 4, when i can go home.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
I remember a few years ago, some rookie RB with The Bengals made Pro Bowl because he had a great year and he blew out a knee or something playing touch football on a sandy beach in Hawaii, and never played in the NFL again. The risk/reward equation is impossible for this game.
I like fg’s skills idea.
Chet’s Inflated Ego

General Soreness
Flynn….I like those Goosen odds. How much did you put down on that 18-1.
The Cards bet is way off though….50-1 would be more appropriate (disclaimer: I am not a Cubs fan).
General Soreness
Did you notice what the odds were for the ChiSox to take the crown?
Jaimie in Hoffman Estates
Thanks, Chet
big time sucker(formely MABT)
i hate all you who have tomorrow off, you all suck!!! just kidding, have a good day off!!!
famous grouse
For the pro bowl, get 20 limo’s, put 4 guys in a limo, send em out to bars and see who comes back with the best looking ladies.( maybe a limo or two comes back with dudes) now that would draw more ratings than the game does. who can come up with other exciting competitions
Chris in Scottsdale
Chet-
The guy you’re thinking of Robert Edwards, rookie RB for the Patriots a decade ago. They were playing sand football, and he made a cut, and with no contact, basically just tore his knee apart. They thought they were possibly going to have to amputate. After two years, I think he actually made it back as a member of the ‘Fins, but of course was never the same.
Since that incident, I can’t even play sand volleyball. Just the thought of what happened to him gives me nightmares.
Chet’s Inflated Ego
Thanks Chris.

i think i’ll make my baseball predictions for playoff spots….
National League,
NL EAST: Phillies
NL CENTRAL: Cardinals
NL WEST: Dodgers
NL WILDCARD: Giants
American League,
AL EAST: Yankees
AL CENTRAL: White Sox
AL WEST: Angels
AL WILDCARD: Mariners
i’m not gonna make any world series predictions until i see some spring training action so i can get an idea of how each team plays. but, those are my playoff predictions, critique them how you like.

2 white sox players. 4 cub players. pretty good for the cubs, as for the sox, that might be an oversight to some of our young players. i think we have a couple more players that should be on that top 100 list. but then again, it’s some dumb booya list.

The Yankees are the Yankees.
I like Lackey added to The Red Sox, Cameron and Beltre too.
I really LOVE The White Sox pitching staff.
And The Mariners improved themselves whereas The Angels lost Lackey & Figgins.
That’s my $.02.

I don’t know how D. Rose can be disliked in any way so far in Chicago. He is a great young talent and is so exciting to watch. Basketball is relevant and fun to watch again.

Good Morning:
It’s been a bad couple of weeks for Derrick Rose. We have to talk about it.
Who else knew that Curtis Granderson was going to tie the game last night? But the Sox use fundamentals to come through and win.
Another Geoff Blum 1-run loss for the Cubs. Now the Cubs and Sox need each other [...]

After missing a week due to Sox baseball, our signature segment returns at 5:00 this afternoon. Make sure to join us for the (usually) weekly comeuppance for hypocrisy and lies.
Speaking of which, this is from the Daily Herald on January 29th, after the Cubs signed outfielder Xavier Nady: “The Cubs insist Nady will be ready [...]

The Bulls need to roll the dice and trade assets for the possibility of getting/signing real stars.
Otherwise they will just be in basketball hell.
